[Pro] very slow upload

I just started a new website project a few days ago. Now I recognize a very slow upload procedure, although it is a very small site. It takes ages (approx. 1 Minute) before the upload procedure starts. The upload window has already popped up, but the bar that indicates the progress of the upload does not move at all?
I checked the site folder, the upload informations, the resources locations (only 4 little pics so far!). I even put the whole site folder on my desktop to avoid any server traffic.
In the upload window it says:
Remaining elements 11
Connect to ftp.mydomain.de

Can anyone help me please?

Which FTP protocol are you using? Standard is FTP which is probably quickest but there is also FTPS and SFTP.

There are also settings for FTP Mode: Automatic, Passive or Non-Passive.

Try using each of those settings.

I would try FTP protocol and toggle between the three (Automatic, Passive or Non-Passive) to see which is quickest.

As a comparison have you tried a file transfer using CyberDuck (Free) or similar?

ok, thanks.
I toggled between all three settings with no positive result.
I might have an idea - it might be the new modem with new dns entries. I did not completely understood it, but I will give it a try tomorrow and try another LAN.

I tried it in another LAN and it works. It has to do something with my new router, but I have absolutely no clue, what it could be. :frowning:

ok, I solved the problem. It was the router. I just connected the old one and now it works.
