Just another quickie. Does anyone know if it’s possible to upload videos in WebYep? And to make it an even more difficult question - responsive using BackDraft?

Technically spoken yes - as long as there is a “file handler” available. I stopped WY at the current stat but in the past I had a RichText Editor on steroids which was able to handle “files”. Honestly I was that far that WY nearly did everything for me (except of brewing coffee) but it had been years of developing.
At a specific point I started to review my strategy and set one significant question:
Is WY (or any other php-based CMS) really the correct tool for me? Won’t it be better to go one step ahead if it comes to such special things? Just to name a few:
… theoretically all possible. But to what price?
WY is (and will ever be) a restricted solution that has its strength in the in-browser editing. This is to me not much more then “editable static content” with minor changes.
I long hesitated to stop WY cause fear of the dark. I haven’t had a clue what next. All I knew was not to use comparable stuff - a matter of sink or swim.
I’ve been chosen WordPress for now and it is naturally a big step - maybe too big. But asking me today and now I never regretted the step.
What about WebYep?
As soon as Max is coming with the new polished core, I’ll dive in it once again. But never in that depth anymore. So unfortunately I’m currently not much of help.
