[Pro] Video formats and Freeway

Just checked in FF 3.6.3 in both Mac and Vista and the movie loads quickly and plays fine. Same for IE8 and Safari on Vista.

Maybe it is just your MacBook that has these problems.

Plays fine in Safari and Chrome.

Now this is bizarre… I’ve added 2 more videos to the page, but when I view in Firefox all of them have white boxes and no picture… until… I use the scroll bar on the right and scroll down - then all the pics fill in and I can play them…
Anybody know why this might happen?
The 2 new ones are .mov files trimmed in Mpeg Streamclip. I’m using Mac OS X 4.11.
I tried to also compress these 2 new videos in Quicktime Pro using the guidelines above, but it made the videos too poor quality to watch.
Are there any good books/websites that explain formats for video and compression as simply as possible?
