[Pro] Viewing Actions before using for a site

Can anyone tell me where or how I can view specific Actions which would be good choices to display a gallery or sliding/fading/portfolio on a home page for either a photography client or graphic design client.

I’ve read through the list of Actions, but reading text is not the same thing as seeing the Action do it’s thing before my eyes, so how do I select an Action I need, if I’ve never seen it perform on a web page?

If any of you have sites up on the web which are using FW Actions to display a varied selection of photos or artwork, would you be kind enough to share the URL’s so I can see what those Actions are capable of, and list what Action you used to create the way the images cycle through.

Thanks a lot,

Patty

Hi Patty,

it’s probably better to point to a link of an example you want to achieve. Galleries first choice in freeway should be showcase but a few think it is strangely limited (what I personally don’t think).

I know that David (DeltaDave) has tons of examples which I would like (no - love) to see indexed cause they are more than value to get a basic impression.

So David - this is your ball to catch

Cheers

I have a few but they vary from hand coded jQuery and CSS to bundled stuff like Wow Slider and so some are not really recommended for less experienced folk.

As Thomas suggests if you can provide a link to something you would like to emulate we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

And I must add that Thomas’s subject matter is far more interesting than mine!
