[Pro] Visited link colour change

I am trying to have my links change colour once visited.

If i highlight the text that is the link it doesn’t give me an option for a ‘visited’ colour in the palette. I have that option if i just select the box containing the link and when i select a visited colour nothing new happens.

Anyone know how to do this?

There are 2 places in the inspector to do this.

First in the Page inspector - with nothing on the page selected open the Links disclosure triangle under the paintbrush icon and change colours there.

Second with your HTML item clicked the same settings are available.

If you want page wide settings use method 1

If you want a specific container to have different settings method 2

Thank you, David.

It puts a box around them until I click on something else but the text stays the same colour.

Am I missing something really simple.

Remember that this is a difficult one to see working because after the initial visit it will always show as the visited colour (which is a browser default of purple?)

I would remove all link colours in both selection areas (Page and Item)

Shut down your browser.

Republish the page(s)

Restart the browser - or try another browser that you haven’t used to visit that page before.

Then try setting the link colours again something wild that you would really notice and repeat the process.
