I’m not an experienced web builder. I’ve built two small freeway Pro 5.5 sites with page designs which sit on top of colored backgrounds:
http://www.wisner-design.com/ (under construction)
http://www.elliewellsteaddesigns.com/
I’m confused about what pixel dimensions create a web page which goes completely across the browser window like the example www.circlesconference.com and similar sites.
I built my two sites at 1024 px wide by 768 px high, yet a Freeway Pro template for the “Radar” template was sized as 960 px wide by 850 px high and it goes completely across the page without showing a background.
So can you explain how to do this correctly (no matter what color the web design is), what is the correct width to build sites which will go the complete width of the browser window and not show an extra background color like the two sites I built.
Are there some special commands I don’t know about to do this successfully?
Thanks very much.

This requires a page construction that could be called Inline (aka Box-in-Box-Model), shortly spoken items positioned relative.
Double-click in an empty workspace so you see a flushing cursor. Choose Insert → HTML-item.
Congrats - you placed an item relative (Double-click in this first item and repeat the step would be the next).
The caveat?
Most people hate this construction cause it seems, that it breaks the easy Freeway use.
The good news?
Yeahh - cause you have anyway no alternative to it. So do it or not - it’s not a matter of personal prefs.
There is a template by Ernest Simpson (which link I never have by hand sorry), that helps you.

ohh - forgot a big part of the answer:
Full-width (fill the browser) means: 100%. Set the page-orientation to none and make the width of your first item 100% wide - give it a color.
Hight of a page doesn’t play an role in my understanding (btw).

Thanks to both of you. I will try to figure this out, but I’m still pretty confused. I’ll get back on Freeway Talk if I get really stumped.
