Have a search here for the word ‘parallax’. There have been a number of examples of this technique posted here, built in Freeway. If you’re just getting started with Freeway, I would recommend that you look at one or another of the templates first, and build a more conventional site to get your feet wet. As you have seen, Freeway’s basic workflow is based around individual separate pages (with their own URL) that you build individually within a site. It works extremely well for this.
Making a sequence of “panes” on a single page that will behave like a set of related pages (the so-called one-page-application site) is definitely possible in Freeway, but it requires some special effort, and it really helps to understand what Freeway does by default before you move into this realm.
