[Pro] Website Style

Here is my website that I build with SiteSpinner on a PC

http://www.pigpenhc.com

I’m seeing more and more websites like freeway pro where there are panels of information you scroll down to view. It’s sleek and simple.

I want to change my site to look like this but not sure how to add a panel below the home page.

When I add a page it ads a new page to the sidebar. I just want to extend the existing page.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I’m new with Mac and not the best at web design - even though I think a simpleton like me made a great business website.

Here’s another example:

Thanks in advance.

This one is awesome. Scroll down and stuff is moving all over the place. How do I do this? Do I have to know how to write code?

Have a search here for the word ‘parallax’. There have been a number of examples of this technique posted here, built in Freeway. If you’re just getting started with Freeway, I would recommend that you look at one or another of the templates first, and build a more conventional site to get your feet wet. As you have seen, Freeway’s basic workflow is based around individual separate pages (with their own URL) that you build individually within a site. It works extremely well for this.

Making a sequence of “panes” on a single page that will behave like a set of related pages (the so-called one-page-application site) is definitely possible in Freeway, but it requires some special effort, and it really helps to understand what Freeway does by default before you move into this realm. Walk before you run, basically.

Thanks Walter. I’ll forego the parallax and work on just the simple panes.
