[Pro] Webyep actions installation problem

Hi All,

I haven’t used Webyep for a while. However, I’ve noticed now that I try to use it again, the actions aren’t installed.
I’ve tried reinstalling but they don’t show up.

I’ve double clicked the actions, tried through the install actions dialogue, plus copied the files into the library/application support/freeway 5 folder.

None of this seems to show the actions at all.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Graeme

to be pedant:

they need to be in:

user/library/application support/freeway 5/Actions/

So quit Freeway - place them in above pointed root, restart Freeway again. The screener exactly shows how I have it installed (I even organize them in subfolders):

so I leave no doubt that this will work.

Cheers

Thanks Thomas,

Tried all this but still not showing. The actions are in that folder but not showing in Freeway.

Could it be anything else?

Thanks,

Graeme

Not that I could think of - especially as I can’t “view” into your system so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

Hi Graeme,
Check under Edit > Actions. All of the Actions the application knows about should be listed here regardless of if they are enabled or not.
Regards,
Tim.

Thanks Tim,

They’re not there either. Double clicking the actions tells me that I’m installing. However, they don’t appear.
When I try to install from the edit > actions menu I get “You are about to install actions that replace newer actions”. I say ok but they still don’t appear.

I can’t understand it.

they need to be in:

user/library/application support/freeway 5/Actions/

Personally I put mine in HD/library/application support/freeway 5/Actions/ and then they are available to all users of the Mac.

so shame on me. But whatever actions folder you choose, once there it should be available. If not I can’t explain.

same problem here : installed several actions, and even though they appear under Edit>Actions, they won’t show up in freeway, when I want to use one of them

FW actions are context sensitive so make sure that you are trying to use them in the correct context ie if you select an html item you will have different actions available from those available if you select a graphic item etc.
