[Pro] WebYep and pound signs

I’m getting a problem where WebYep inserts an unwabted character before a pound sign when used inside a short or a long text box - I’ve not tried a Rich Text box yet.

Both the Freeway document and the WebYep config file are set to utf-8.

£134,950

The extra character has been inserted into the code before the pound sign. I can only assume this is the WebYep engine inserting this rather than something the action instigates, but thought I’d check first.

OK Max - I’ll try adding £ signs from other computers/browsers to see if I can isolate the problem.

OK - solved it.

Although the Freeway document set-up preference creates all new pages with the utf-8 character set, the pages causing the problem were old ones still on ISO-8859-1. As soon as I checked all the source code for the wayward pages I realised.

Simple matter of changing the character set of a few pages to utf-8.

Sorry to prod you unnecessarily Max!
