So far I’m not having any luck. When I login to WebYep to update the images the image icons for editing do not appear in the browser so I can’t update any images.
Does anybody have any tips on how to set up Carousel with WebYep?
Make sure you “inserted” the WebYep image objects. That means you double clicked in each of the panes of the carousel so that you see a flashing cursor, went to the Insert menu and selected WebYep Image. Doing this makes the objects in-line. If you only draw them on then they are not inline.
It’s actually the image editing icons that are not appearing so I can’t add photos. Is there anything else I would need to add to this to make it work?
I’ve had a message from Max recommending the Carousel Tab targeting specific images instead of the Carousel button. This seems to work but look forward to seeing the development of the Carousel button working with WebYep.
Yes with the Carousel buttons in place of the Carousel tabs the image editing icons show up once I remove the Carousel Action. As soon as I put the Carousel Action back on the page the images disappear along with the image edit icons.
Image object is inserted into the panes of the carousel. Then there is the option to add the carousel button action ‘previous’ and ‘forward’ buttons or the carousel tab which targets specific images in the Carousel. Targeting the images with the carousel tab action works but the carousel button action does not. When I add the buttons to the page the images in the carousel pane disappear and in edit mode there are no edit icons to click and update.I had a message from Max and he says obdev.at should hopefully sort this out in the next release.
