I haven’t used Freeway for at least a year or so and I am feeling very rusty here, so no doubt the answer is blindingly obvious.
Very simply, I have started to design a new website, which will be one page only and set up to sell an ebook I have recently written and due for release in the near future. I’ve opted for a light grey background created in html and a black strip along the top also in html, but suddenly I can’t see any of my grid lines, which I normally use just to keep everything neatly lined up. I can’t remember having this problem in the past, so what am I doing wrong? apologies for this daft question but it feels like I am back at step one after such a long break.
Ignore that post, I seem to have found the solution. Somehow I had placed a grey background on the original grey background. It should get fun when I try to add white inserts with text judging by my progress so far!

Don’t forget that an object you have drawn on the page is NOT
actually a page background, even if you send it behind other objects.
There is a distinct difference. Although this doesn’t mean that your
method is wrong.
