that I could place on my contact page?
And is it recommended to use a catcha program too?

PHP Feedback Form (available free from http://freewayactions.com or http://actionsforge.com) is the gold standard. It does not include a CAPTCHA, but it does have a spam “honeypot” which is less obtrusive and nearly as effective against automated spam attacks.
If you really want a CAPTCHA, you can use http://easibase.com/easiForm/index.php (paid) for this.
