[Pro] White out of page in Safari at certain browser size

Hello,
My site has been updated with the pro 6.4 (?) and really seems a lot smoother. I have a situation on one page that has occurred on others (after update) that no longer present a problem but this one page is persistent.

When Safari 6.0.2 is resized from the lower right corner (dragged in or out) at one point a giant white block obscures everything. I have looked for forgotten png/html/gif items but can’t seem to find the culprit. Here is a screen shot of the layup, the page is already included:

My concern is that someone has the sizing that creates the block and would never get beyond it. The size seems to be just about actual size of the page BTW.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Frank H.

In Safari Preferences (advanced tab), make sure the Develop menu is enabled. Then get the block to appear, and Control-click (or right-click) on the offending element, and choose Inspect Element from the contextual menu. You will see it in the Web Inspector, and you will see its name. Then back in Freeway, click on the word Site above the left column of the interface so it becomes the word Page. Click on the disclosure triangle left of your page name so it toggles down, and look for the item of that same name.

Thank you for you help Walter.

Everyone,

That is very cool, I didn’t know how to put the Inspect Element to practical use.
At first I thought I was on to something with mysterious form things that didn’t belong, I was but not the source of the problem. I have come very close to loosing the entire site after cleaning out the multitudes of duplicates duplicatea duplicateb…. a question about that later. I knw that’s a no no, but the thing was a mess…

Using the inspector during the white block (better description than ‘out’) different items and divs are indicated depending on where the cursor (always on the white), indicating the item directly behind the block.

It appears all the pages are affected (except for ‘Terry’s Clean’ linked from Website page slide) but the Ticker has stopped working. This issue appears to be a horizontal thing and I find best viewed 2x zoomed out; some pages don’t ‘block’ unless certain width. I increased the page length from 800 to 880 but no avail.

I can’t find any correlations such as scripty stuff or the like between the pages which includes those linked to only through the Website page through the slides. I have cleaned out the files on the server and started new there. Cloudflare is Off, which had been a problem before.

Non of the graphic link boxes are on every page affected, such as Site lock, Iron Planet, or eBid.

I fully intend to get this upgrade, and will have to as I lost my older version freeway file, would have had to anyway I guess as the changes were made in 6, unless there is a way to create another(?).

Thanks again for your time, really need some help here.

About the afore mention extra question, think I’ll post it under an different thread: (I get the new ‘use masters’ feature on the actions pallet - very cool! On the inspector page are, use masters content, settings, and children. How does this differ from just building on a page made from the master? Is it safe to use on pages already built such as mine?)

Thanks again.
