[Pro] Will hire to help solve 1 important problem..

Hi all,

This is a rare circumstance with a difficult problem I am trying to solve. One that I am willing to pay someone to help resolve. I am a little desperate after so much trying.

This video will help explain what is happening on my page with an embedded situation, what I need it to do (and stop doing) and will compensate anyone that can help.

In short, the iframe scrolls sometimes when using the interactive mult problem generator and I realize if the iframe is 200 pxls down the page or more it does this. 200 or less and it works perfect as needed and does not β€œjump” back upward. Problem is I need it lower than 200 pxls from the top of the page, so I cannot solve my problem. I do think the company can do much to change this as it is not a problem except in the rare case of embedding.

Here is the video explaining

Here is the page (it sometimes jumps scrolls and other times it does not after you hit enter to see the next Q)

Thanks for considering.

Hi Barry,
I’ve just registered to get some help with a problem and saw your post.
Sorry I don’t have the the technical answer as I’m a low volume user of Freeway for personal use but something I would do if i don’t find the help I need would be to move the red, green tabs to below the yellow tab on the left hand side above the Bunkstuff.com

This would allow the calculations table to move up to an area on the page that seems to work for you as you had shown in your video.

Cheers

Hi Frans,

That is exactly what I did and it worked. I am glad to see I am thinking like others.

However, the problem is then the advertisers (of which I am hoping more will be added as the page is released) get pushed down the left side and out of the way. Not good.

My goal is instead to try and fix how I have it now with the dream of keeping the 3 color areas above and it working as needed.

Thus the reason for my big problem.

The tech in India who does the code for the actual program that is jumping will be back in on Monday, I just am hoping someone here can suggest what I can tell him they can do to help me.

Thanks for your time Frans!

Frans,

here is my version where the stuff up top is on the left to make the mult table thing work fine.

http://hoffkids.com/timestrygood.html

Another issue this way on the left ( and probably solvable) is as the embed form grows at the end with the answers (by the way the real one has 121 facts not just 5,) the way I designed it with one table makes all the colored areas get pushed down. I am sure this is fixable another way, But I keep stopping and trying to shoot for the way I want it up top.

Assuming the tech in India that does the code for the math program cannot do anything to stop the jumping, I have gone with a different layout of the page bringing up the math embedded item. This makes it work fine.

If interested in seeing, here it is

If you have any small suggestions for design layout improvements, I would love that.

Thanks.
