I just downloaded the YouTube action for use with FW5.5 - the version seems to be the only one available at Actionsforge, version 1.
Does it work?
I can’t make it work. I insert the action on a page, check a variety of options (actually uncheck most of them except autorun), add my YouTube video link and publish.
I haven’t looked at this Action myself, but are you supposed to enter the entire link to the video, or just the ID?

I don’t really ‘get’ YouTube, to be honest. I’ve uploaded an MP4 which is size 800 x 448, but it doesn’t look that size when you play it back from Youtube.
Also Youtube appears to have no obvious instructions about how to re-use your youtube video via embedding or other methods. I’ve searched my Video Manager area but can’t find anything. Poor.
I’ll probably leave the video to standalone on youtube and maybe use the ScriptyLightbox action to play it directly in my pages.
No reason to give up yet as you’re almost done! In the Actions Palette for the Youtube Action, paste this in the URL box: rd-VFwCLHso. If you want the video to show at 800 x 448 just make the action box that big.
