Hello,

I just joined Freeway Talk and hope someone can help with a problem I am having.

I would like for the top white and brown strip of a site I am designing to expand all the way to the ends of a browser (be flexible). I read in the Knowledge base that this can be accomplished by making a HTML item that will stretch BUT to do so requires the page setup in the Inspector palette be set to None and not Centered.

How can I accomplish this (with simplicity) and still keep the pages centered?

Here is the site:

Thanks in advance,
Steve

The very easiest way is to use a strip of those colors as a background
image, tiled horizontally. Make a snip of your header bar about 25px
wide, and extending from the top of the browser window to the bottom
of the brown bar. Set that as your page’s background image, set it to
tile horizontally and align top vertically. Also set the pale green
gray as your page background in HTML. That should give you the look
you want, even if you center the page.

Lovely kittens, by the way.
