Hey Gang –
I’m trying to import a stylesheet into FW5 from a previous project. I am doing this by opening the Edit Styles window, toggling the gear widget to “Import” then selecting the Freeway file I want to import from. The stylesheet is imported, but I get a message telling me I cannot save the project that I imported into because of “end of file”.
This happens whether the file I’m importing styles from is version 4 or 5. Any ideas what is wrong?

I tried to replicate this and I did eventually.
I got this as the erroe :
Could not save ‘test.freeway’ because end of file. (-30.114.9641)
I think you have a bug there Erns…
now this only happened when I imported a freeway document that conatined a lot of files though if I just imported the css files from that same published document, then it was ok
did yo get the same result?

I hadn’t tried importing from the CSS file – the last version of Freeway wasn’t too good at importing extended style attributes.
I tried your suggestion and the styles seemed to come over without error… After copying over the colors, I seem ready to go.

Oddly enough I needed to import some styles today and even importing from an external style sheet document resulted in a non perfectly import. So I would watch the settings as some do get mucked up.

I see what you mean. Maybe I should just start again from scratch, which I know works. It will also give me the opportunity to improve the odd bits as well.
