Question regarding Backdraft 1.5

Hi, I am just starting in converting my existing webpage into a Freeway based webpage.

I bought the Backdraft template and just uploaded a simple site with just the responsive menu header.
I adjusted the width for all modules to 1840 px, because I would like to have the page working about to screen resolutions of 1920 px.

If you check this simple example on http://www.offroaddance.eu, everything looks fine, but if you make the browser windows smaller and smaller, after some time a scrollbar is visible at the bottom of the browser window. This stays until the minimum width of the page.
On Calebs page, this effect is not visible.
What I noticed, is, that there is coming a grey zone right to the menu bar, after I am getting under a certain page width.

How can I get rid of this, so that this works without this scrollbar.

I think, I did not change anything in the configuration.
I just started a new page, changed the max width to 1840 px , copied the responsive menu header into the page and published it.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Christian

How can I get rid of this, so that this works without this scrollbar.

by deleting an item called “DeleteMe”

This is the “Welcome to BD” message which is nice but redundant.

Cheers

Thanks, Thomas

I did not think about his (I thought this writing was also ‘responsive’).
