# Realtime Polling Action

Is there an action script to create a Survey Poll/Vote interface in which users could select from multiple responses–submit–and receive an instant, updated response in realtime?
For example, after user submits selection they would be greeted with number of votes broken out into a bar graph of representative percentages from all submissions to date. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Not that I know of. Do you need the results of the poll to be stored
on your server somewhere? If you have a look at ActionsForge, on the
Wish List page, there’s a polling feature such as you describe, where
you can vote for individual Actions on the list. I could probably pull
out the script that does that and package it somehow, or you could
just try to disassemble it and learn a bit more that way.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will look at the Wish List page for the Action you mention. I will first try to work it out myself, and contact you for a bit of help if I find myself overwhelmed. Thank you.

tried so you would be testing new water, but, if you do tackle it, let
