Referencing external content

I bet this is a seriously newbie question, but I’ve scoured the forums and the user guide to no avail. I’ve been using Freeway 4 Pro for a few months and I have a website that works great. The problem is, I now want to host just my media files on another server.

Is there a streamlined way to do this? The user guide seems to only show how to do this with images. But video (being bandwidth greedy) is the whole reason I want to host it externally anyway!

Help?!

If I understand what it is you want to do, it shouldn’t be a big deal.
Not sure how you’re displaying you media files now, but you could simply create a “site” page(s) for them, upload to the server and create an “external” link to it within the current site.
Hope that makes sense.

Check out the Remote Resources action from Tim Plumb. It’s exactly what you need. http://freewayactions.com
