I tried searching Freeway’s help pages as well as this forum for how to remove the .html from the end of web pages for a cleaner look, but I can’t seem to find an answer so maybe my search terms sucked.
I found some info online for people not using Freeway about modifying the .htaccess file, but wanted to find out if there was a simple solution when the site’s been built in Freeway Pro.

It doesn’t matter what tool is used you need to do this with an .htaccess file.
If you have a single index.html page within a sub folder called photos you can achieve this but it would mean that your site would consist of quite a few subfolders with just one index.html page in each.
As Google et al also use the file name ie my-photo-page.html in their SEO consideration this is not really a good way to go.
This is expected behaviour across browser/platform and I personally wouldn’t mess with it for the sake of perceived aesthetics - how many folk actually look at the address bar anyway. What is far more important is the Title of the page. What is valuable is renaming your pages to be more descriptive of their content ie contemporary_arts_gellery.html
