roll over picture quality issue.

Hi all when you go to my site www.signaturemotors.com Click on the inventory page , Then click on one of my cars on the inventory page. The initial picture that you see changes slightly when you put the mouse onto that rollover . The picture quality is not as good as the original until you rollover it. I checked and it does look like it’s the same image. So I cannot understand the image quality change . Has anyone had this problem and can someone give me some ideas on what to change to fix this problem. Thanks Brian

Just looking at it with Safari 3.1.2 and I don’t see any change. I do see a shift in position once you click on a thumbnail that takes you to the detail page, but the image is exactly the same from my perspective.

if you look at at closely and slowly put your mouse over the image there is a slight shift but what i see is the image clarity is much greater once it’s rolled on , the very first image not all the others, please take a closer look Thanks Brian

I have no clue where I’m supposed to be looking, but… is this even a
Freeway site? There’s no Rollover code from Freeway on any of the pages.

Joe I built the site in freeway 5 Pro, did you go to www.signaturemotorcars.com

When you get on the main page , Click the inventory tab, Then click on any one of my vehicles that have a hyper link, Then the page on that vehicle will open. That is were the problem occurs. the very first slave image that matches the rollover is were the problem is. Before you put the mouse on the very first the main slave image is slightly different than when you rollover that exact pic/rollover/ Try that please you should be able to notice it . Thanks Brian

Ahh, I see, I went to the site you linked to in your first email,
signaturemotors!

So, the two images are definitely different:

How are you adding them to the page? Do you have a stack of images on
the page with the Target/Slave Image Action applied to the top one or
do you have one image on the page (that one) and are selecting the
others from your hard drive through the Action. We recommend going
with the first option since all image are equal then, not being output
by an Action.

What I do is let’s say I need a new Page , First I duplicate the page, Then I import the new image , that is just like a place holder which is the first one you see. Then when I insert the slaves i open the action palette an insert them into the appropriate numbers to match the thumb nails . I find it’s allot less work than stacking the images. I can ad a new page in a few quick steps this way.
