rollover buttons

Good Morning,

i would like to know how the buttons on this page - http://www.kimmich-dm.de/myoldpage/index.php - (work, web, print) are made?

Do they still work when there are inside a html-box?
Because the box (within the rollovers) has to be sticky at the top of the page

Thank you,

Andre

P.S: sorry for my bad english

Hi Andre,

I mainly followed Joe’s example here:

http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/27374#m_27401

A combination of target show hide layer and rollover action.

If you group your final “button-set” and set the inspector “0” for this new item (group) to bring it on the very top of your page and set “fixed in window” instead of “absolute” the scrolling content should behave as you expect.

It’s a bit like the old frame-set behavior.

Hope this helps you out.

Cheers

OK - one of my first wrote then thought topics.

I’ve first to double-check the “constructional” view of this cause “fixed in window” would mean horizontal and vertical. So on a inspector centered page your elements will follow the inspector settings (absolute).

Now here is an example of the probable result:

http://www.kimmich-dm.de/testings/rollover.html

A fixed menu (“fixed in window”) and a content gliding under the fixed menu. It is as expected inline-content stuff to center the page without using inspector.

I feel myself a bit short-handed to proper explain the method and would take me months to do. But Walter had done this brilliant in the past in some other lists - I’ll have a look to dig this out. It must be requests like “Stretching all across the page”

Cheers

Thomas
