I would like to create a rollover using text. For example, when using a red background, the word “flavors” would rollover from peach to white. The problem is, the top image is correct, and the other that it “rolls over to” is a previous image I have used, or the background is a totally different color. (Whatever the case, it is the WRONG image) I have spent hours on this… I’ve created rollovers in other platforms before! Help!
(Yes, I’ve looked at the users manual, done the tutorials, and looked through the FAQs…)
update: I have the two text successfully doing the rollover action. However, now there is a thin white line down the side of the text that appears when I rollover.
Two questions: Can you upload your page somewhere so we can have a
code-level look at what is going on? Also, what method are you using to
create the rollover? I guess I’m trying to assess your level of comfort
with CSS style solutions and knowledgeability of how rollovers work – your
previous statement about creating rollovers in other platforms hints that
you may not be a complete novice.
