rollover text very fussy

I have rollover text (pale grey) that lies under a black banner. When I view the rollover effect in preview mode the text comes out almost unreadable (and this is not because of pt. size)…any suggestions? thanks again before hand

Is your rollover text gif - have you set anti alias to the correct colour for your background?

Try selecting the colour of the background rather than Auto

Do you not even have a bit of server testing space that you can upload to for exactly this sort of occasion.

If you don’t then you should make it a priority to get it.

When you are developing sites you need to get them up there so that you can access them for testing from various different machines.

You might have to borrow your Brother in laws PC on occasion.

Local level previews are no substitute for real world testing!

Several of the guys here have cheap web space available for just this sort of thing.

I hear you David, I’m in the process of deciding on a host…I’m wondering if it’s best to pay one who is knowledgeable about Macs and Freeway…
