Aghhh…now all the actions went away on the rollovers.
Here is simply what I am trying to do and how I am doing it. I am grateful for any advice on what I am doing wrong (every time I try to do rollovers I run into some new issue).
I simply want to build a rollover stack (three graphic text elements for base, hover and click). Once properly built, I want to copy the first stack and use it again for the other buttons.
My process (that is not working):

Create the three items (I even make a point of creating them in the pasteboard area so they do not accidentally combine with other graphics)

Align the objects.

Group the objects

Go back and lock each individual item in the stack.

Click on the group item and go to Item>Actions>rollovers.

I select the right action for each item.

When I drag it back to the page, it works perfect.
Now the problem…
I have tried to copy it from the item list, on the page and even dragging it back to the pasteboard. When I do, the copied item never works right. Most often, it does not show any actions on the individual items (only shows the grouped item in the actions window) and only lets me see the individual items if I click “Layer.” When I do that, the stack still does not work when I drag it back to the page.
What am I doing wrong? I am following the tutorial precisely.
