How are the rotating banner and buttons used here created? Is this Carousel or something else?

While I dont think that the SP page uses ScriptyFader - it certainly can be used to do this. http://www.actionsforge.com/actions/view/218-scriptyfader

The thing I’m most interested in are the buttons SoftPress is using to navigate through the various frames. It looks like they’re using some type of code to make that work since only one graphic is used for each button state. Blue=selected. White=unselected.
I was hoping that whatever solution or action they are using has that functionality built into it so I can avoid coding.

You can do that with ScriptyFader - in my example the buttons change depending on which frame is selected.
It is a small amount of CSS to do this.

OK - so that was the wrong choice of words.
It depends on the look you are trying to achieve.

Not sure. I just want something simple. Any suggestions?

Hello Dave,
Is there any chance I could have a look at your example above in a file to see how you managed the buttons change. I think I can learn something from this.
Hope things are good

The ‘buttons’ are Graphic items with the ScriptyFader Thumbnail action applied.
What this does is change the opacity of the ‘button’ when it is active/inactive between 1 and .4
No extra work required - all done by the action.
