Until recently I was using FF almost exclusively for my browsing needs - that was until I found it getting increasingly slow and buggy.
I finally gave up at 3.0.8 and am now using Safari 3.2.1 for most everyday browsing.
While I am familiar with the Safari Web Developer tools there are features/extensions from FF that I miss - namely its Web Developer extension that allows you to, amongst other things, Display Form Details, Show Passwords etc. In fact a host of other stuff for Cookies, CSS etc.
Is there an add-on for Safari that will give me these features back?

Well, you could do like I do. I use Safari for day-to-day surfing and
use Firefox for web dev and testing.
I also keep Camino and Opera about for testing, though I now tend to
just use FF and Safari. If it doesn’t work in those two, it won’t work
in the others either.
Weeeel, I think that might be looking at Firebug with the wrong glasses.
Certainly you can do more in Xyle scope with respect to layout and
style rule priority, but try to analyze a page that has some Ajax
widget inserting HTML after the page has loaded, and the most that
Xyle will muster is “generated element” and no further details.
Firebug keeps a running track of the DOM – period – and can analyze
elements you added along the way, not just what’s in the source code.
Further, you can watch that Ajax transaction on a number of levels –
watch the call and response happening in the XHR request, see the DOM
changing as the script does its thing, it’s very complete.

Also, Xylescope is now free, with similar but rather more
functionality than Firebug.

Yes I do Heather but I have been finding FF so darn sloooooooooow
I will try 3.0.9 now that it is here!
I will also look at those safari add-ons David and see if any of them will do what I want.
One of my problems with FF may be that I am still running a G5 with 10.4.11 so if anyone else is using that setup I would be interested to hear what they think of their FF performance.
I still haven’t moved from FF2 to 3, because I have lingering doubts
about Firebug. Really, I run Firefox as a host for Firebug – any more
with the Ajax stuff I do, it is my primary tool (after TextMate). I
think FF2 is plenty fast, and I used to run it on a dual 1.25 G4
before I got my spanky new 8-core Pro.
