I have been using one page to try and then to test different layouts, fonts, arrangements, etc. While it looks fairly good to me in Safari it looks really f’d up in Firefox.
Not being that able to read and understand all the new coding since my last foray into this area (I last used html 4) it is difficult for me to find and know what is wrong.
Please take a look at this URL in Firefox and then in Safari and you will see what I mean. Thanks.
Apparently you are still using HTML4 for this layout, too. I’m having a hard time seeing how this issue arises, you are correct in your assessment of it. Can you make a one-page Freeway document that includes only this page, and Zip it and post it somewhere for dissection?
Important security note, since you have already uploaded this file (and thus your username and password are embedded in the Freeway document): Create a new document while this document is open. Click once on the filename for this page, and copy to the clipboard (Command-C). Move to the new document and paste. The entire page, in all its glory, will be created in the new empty document. You can delete the other page or not, save, and zip.

Hmm, I too am having different looks show up in Safari Preview and in Firefox Preview. I’m redoing my website in 6Pro from 6 Express, using HTML5.
On my 6Pro pages I have some bullet-point lists using the LIST arrows (not the Inspector’s Indent). Sometimes I’ll have a one-arrow list directly above a two-arrow list, separated in the Freeway item by a single line space.
When Previewed, in Safari there is a (desired) double line space between the two lists. But in Firefox, the same page previews with only a single line space between the two. Any ideas?

An online example would help us to see the underlying code/structure.
The problem appears to be with the custom font families that you are using (Nymph's Handwriting and Architects Daughter). Whenever you are using a font with a space in the name, you must wrap the font name with quotation marks in the font-family creation dialog. Webkit is smart enough to make an educated (and correct) guess at what you wanted, but Firefox apparently isn’t.
Also, don’t forget to define font fallbacks!

And how were you planning on making sure that your visitors would be able to see the Fonts you have chosen?
Because unless you create the Font sets correctly (including correct naming as per Caleb’s advice) and use one of the Actions like Caxton or WebFonts - then it isn’t going to happen!
