Scale multiple objects in place

Is there a way to scale multiple objects at once, but have each object scale in place, as if they had been scaled one-by-one?

The multiple-object-scaling behavior I’m seeing is as if the objects were already grouped: the space between objects is scaling along with each object. It can be really handy to have the scale-in-place option. If the current behavior is called for, one can always group objects.

Try the script ‘Repeat For All’.

Alternatively, set the first scale and then use Repeat Transformation (Command-R) on the other objects.
