Scaling a Fill Pattern

How do I scale a fill pattern ?
I am trying to to depict a new bathroom project with different kinds of tile and the tiling fill patterns in Intaglio are good, but the scale (size) is not good.
How can I alter the size of the fill ?
I tried using the pattern properties menu but couldn’t figure out what to do. The ‘size’ option didn’t seem to change anything

My understanding is that patterns are not scaleable because they are bitmaps, like a picture is. If you want something that will scale I think you are going to have to draw it yourself. It would then be a vector graphic, which is scaleable.

The Path and Text Fill Patterns in the drop-down menu at the top of an Intaglio window can be scaled.
Draw a shape, select a pattern and drag a corner point. To scale the pattern uniformly, press the Shift key when dragging. Dragging a point without pressing Shift distorts the pattern.

If you want to use a custom shape as a pattern, copy it to the Clipboard and paste it into the right-hand pane of the Pattern palette. 2. Draw the shape that you want to fill with the pattern. 3. Select the shape. 4. Click the Preview pane in the Pattern palette. The pattern fills the shape. The pattern is scaleable.
