scripty accordion puzzle

I’m working on a wee sight and went to implement the scripty accordion action (I’ve not used it before) but cannot reason why it won’t work. I’ve reversed engineered the page, taking away element and effects but it still doesn’t wish to behave.

It works fine on my test page (substitute with test.html) that I copied from the above accordion page and found that it didn’t like a background colour with opacity but that was all, so a bit of a puzzle. I’ve also copied from test page back to accordion page and it didn’t work, gone through quite a few permutations without success. I’ll think of another method if no success but felt this would have been quite neat.

Any thoughts anyone - Walter:)

You can’t mix Prototype and jQuery the way you have in this page. What does the scrollableElement function do for you here? There may be a way to implement it without adding jQuery.

Thanks Walter for quick reply and help.

Guess who had some page markup from a previous idea, aaarggh !!

Do you think its too late for SP to add a blinkey in the menubar of FW6 flashing ‘markup stoopid’.

Thanks for helping bounce it around and back, a happy end to my day.
