scripty error

GOod afternoon,

I think this is a Walter question…

I had been having some issues w FWP and my mbp getting cloggy (yes shutting it down and rebooting helped) but other weird things were happening. So, in lew of next week and Mountain lion. I figured a clean sweep was in order - it has been since last october. SO I did,

re launched FWP, etc…

I then went in and did all the scripts / actions I need. the last time I had by accident put Scripty lightbox 2 in twice. No issue - just got the error duplicate action.

I was careful this time. opened up a file I use it heavily on and am getting this error:

It sounds like you may have disabled the wrong copy of the Action. Try locating your Actions folder(s) and clearing out the duplicates there. What can happen is this: you download the same Action more than once without deleting it from your Downloads folder. The Finder won’t let two files have the same path, so you end up with FooAction.fwactionb and FooAction 1.fwactionb. You install both of those, and you get the duplicate error.

This is from a clean sweep (erase of hdd and clean install of all) that there were no actions installed and I installed just one sl2.

Does this problem manifest in a completely blank new document, with no other documents open in Freeway?

If not, then you need to go through that troubled document, remove all instances of the Scripty Actions, publish once, then put them back. This sounds like a long-standing issue with the Action cache and bundle Actions.

It does not… I will go through the older doc and remove all SL2 and publish and put them back…

Thanks!

Just so weird since it is a fresh load, and fresh HDD

Walter, I was going through my Apache server logs today and found many errors like the following:

File does not exist: …/kiramek.com/public_html/ajaxload-reverse.gif, referer: (various pages in my site)

I logged into my webspace via FTP client and sure enough “ajaxload-reverse.gif” is not in the root directory. But it is in other sub-directories of my domain. So I must assume that Freeway or the ScriptyLightBox3 Action is failing to upload “ajaxload-reverse.gif” into my root directory for some reason?
