Scripty Lightbox size problem

I am having some problems with some lightboxes not properly sizing my videos, even though I did specify the correct dimensions in the action.

Again it seems to be a random problem. I tried deleting the actions and reapplying them to no avail.

Another gremlin in the action?

Thanks.

In the current iteration of ScriptyLightbox, all movie resources on
the same page must be the same size, and all instances of the Action
(if you are applying the Action to separate objects, rather than
applying it to one parent container) must have the same settings for
the movie dimensions. This is because there’s a bit of a race to see
which instance of the Action will get to publish its code to the page,
and only one will win.

That explanation doesn’t appear to be the case for me.

I have pages with every video with the same dimensions and the lightbox is still off (sound works).

I also have multiple videos on a page with the same size called out and they work fine (except for the sound cutting out).

I also have other pages with only 1 video and the correct dimensions and it is shrinking and off-setting it in the lightbox.

Will an older version of the lightbox help? I do remember everything working for me at one point and now everything is a total mess.

Flumoxed.

Could you please cut this down to a 2-page document and send it to me?
I would like to get to the bottom of it as well. I will need the
resources for the site, too, so please do the following:

  1. Save As from your current document and thereby create a new document.
  2. In that document, delete everything except a page where things seem
to work and another where things really don’t work at all.
  3. Save again.
  4. File / Save Archive. (This bundles up all the external files, so I
get everything needed to publish the site.)
  5. Zip that and use Senduit to send it to me.

Thanks,

Walter

Every time I try to Save Archive it crashes Freeway. It produces the folders but nothing in them.

Any other way to get it to you?

That speaks to a larger problem. This is the one way to get it to me
in a manner where I can use it to understand and duplicate your
problem. You need to troubleshoot the crash, starting with fonts and
moving through placed images until you locate the issue.

I would contact Softpress support – they’re incredibly, doggedly
helpful in these matters, and they really want to fix all crashers.

I sent the crash files to Softpress, so I’ll let you know when I can send everything.

Thanks.
