Scriptyfader issue after adding BAM

I have a scriptyfader issue which has emerged when I setup a BAM on the page.
I was just wanting to check if there are known issues with these two on the same page?

The error reads as follows:

ScriptyFader Option
thisltem.setStyle has no properties

If (thisltem){
Java.:>cnpi: trror

  • thisitem.setSty!e(’ position’, ‘relative’ ) .setStyle(‘top’, ‘auto’). setStyle(‘left’, ‘auto’) . setStyle('bottom ', 'auto ').setStyle(‘right’, ‘auto’ ) .setStyle(‘margin’, ‘0’),

var code = thisltem.fwToHTMl();

Not sure if this is relevant at all.

Any thoughts?
I have closed the file restarted Freeway etc cleared the error but it still appears when going to publish.

Hope this doesn’t appear that I am duplicating posts here but I guess I started both threads with different issues regarding the BAM action. One was about extending it and the other regards a possible issue with it.

I have since been trying to work out the issue. I can’t upload a link as the page with the error won’t publish due to the javascript error with the scriptyfader.

I removed the BAM from the page it was on, replacing it with the previous iteration of the CSS menu with the scriptyfader also in place on the page. This works as before in the preview.

I also setup a test page which is a duplicate of this one but with the BAM but no scriptyfader.
What happens now when I try to publish is that the first page with the scriptyfader publishes but the second page generates a javascript error from the scriptyfader even though it is not on that page! The error is relating to the scriptyfader items on the page which is already published.

I was wondering if there was an explanation for this at all?
Many thanks for any guidance.

Still no further forward with this so I guess I am looking to see if there is an alternative to BAM at all which offers the same effect of a horizontally loading submenu?
I have gotten so close to where I want to be with this setup but the issue keeps emerging even after setting up a fresh page.

Any thoughts?

Why not have a look at http://css3menu.com/ - you may find what you are looking for there.
