ScriptyLightbox and Windows IE

I believe I have fixed the problem with images not resizing correctly
in IE. Please check here:

with your Windows IE and see if you get any postage stamps.

I’ll be posting a new version of the Action if it appears to work
correctly for enough of you.

Yesssss! That seems to have done it. For a second I thought the page was freezing when I was clicking on the pics, but then I noticed it was just loading an ENORMOUS picture. How big were those out of curiosity?

But in the end, they loaded beautifully! Bam! Once again, you kick it up a notch!

Yes - a bit disconcerting with those file sizes as the whole page took about 4.5 mins to load everything before there was a response to a Lightbox click.

I must admit that I thought that you had broken Safari while fixing IE

Thanks Walter, looking forward to the revised IE proof version.

I have no idea how large those originals are – they’re straight out
of iPhoto!

I hope to have a moment to finish this up soon, I still have to back-
port my changes for Flash and QuickTIme into this version. I’m still
hoping I’ll have a brain-flash and figure out a way to hint the
dimensions of the movies to the script – that’s the only thing that’s
still broken from a workflow standpoint.

Hey, Walt.

So was the IE fix for this something simple that I could go in and replace in the html that Freeway outputs or did you have to recompile the whole action?

My list of “things to fix before going live” is getting shorter and shorter and this IE thing is still on it, which I may just ignore and go live anyway. Stupid IE. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s buried deep in the lightwindow.js file that gets linked to your
page. I’ll try to post an update soon, I’ve been overwhelmed lately.
