scroll image gallery

does anyone know how I can achieve a gallery scroll like this. I thought it might be carousel but only one image container will work with carousel - I think

Hi Carla,
You can put whatever you like in a carousel panel; a single image, multiple images or a combination of text, images or whatever. I initially thought that extending the carousel panel out to a wider width than each panel would do the trick although, sadly, it doesn’t as you can see here;

The carousel panel is three times the width of each pane but the script only collates the panes to show when the user requests them by clicking on one of the arrow buttons (which makes sense). Try clicking on the right arrow and you’ll see the script gather the other panes and display them dutifully in the panel alongside the original pane.

Maybe Walter can do something with a future version of the Action so that it is aware that the parent panel is larger than the panes and stacks the content inline before the user scrolls the content?

It’s not going to be possible in Carousel or Carousel 2. You could try hand-rolling the effect using JavaScript.
