I do not have knowledge of Quickregister per say. However, I do have some
experience with other companies that charge for submissions. When I do
websites, I make sure I use pertinent keywords on most of the pages when I
write the text, and I also put small tags or links on the very bottom of
the page with keywords. Most of my sites get picked up by the search engines
this way. I do not charge customers extra for this.

However, I have a customer who was told by a submission company that he
could get a better placement for his website for a fee of $600. (he was
already second on google under "upholstery, brooklyn, ny and a few other
titles). He paid the fee, I had to give the submission company his ftp
information, and nothing changed. I feel my customer got ripped off.

Look at the very bottom of the site and you will see how key words are
incorporated into the links:

It may not look that great, but it is effective, and people want their
websites to work for them.

Very innovative. I like it. That does not lend itself to my site,

but I may come up with something similar. Thank you for sharing this.

I have learned that when you are trying to get a site spidered by google, it
is important not to be sneaky. If you, for instance, write keywords on the
page in the same color as the background so that they don’t show, google
will throw you out and never spider that site again. (I read that some web
designers do that and they pay the price later on.)
It is also so very important to have other websites linked to your website.
I always add a Favorite Links page to my websites and ask other websites for
a link exchange. Most of my websites are horse related, so it is pretty
simple for me to just put all my customers urls on each other’s sites. This
helps everyone out.
