Search Site Engine

Hi

Anyone got any receommendations for a good site search engine. Been looking at Bravenet, SiteLevel, Pico Search, Free Find, Atomz. Naturally want something free or cheap with little or no ads. Anyone got any experience with these? Any help appreciated.

I’ve used the Atomz site search - it’s on these two sites

http://www.tods.co.uk/corporate/search.html
http://www.jsmarine.co.uk

After installing the code into the site you have to go back to the Atomz control panel and ‘index’ the site - this is pretty straight forward, then if you add pages etc. it’s alway wise to go back and ‘index’ again.

Each week you or a specified email address receives a report on the searches that have been made.

Thanks for that BigG. I have tried to set up an account with Atomz but as yet have not received any email for activation. Have sent email via support too. Oh the joys of the internet eh?

What about Fluid Dynamics Search Engine

I have used it a couple of times.
Not very pretty out of the box but you can tweak it.
