As I drag a guide across the page I don;t see any readout as to where the guide is as I’m moving it.
Is that displayed somewhere that I missed? Kind of makes measuring a bit difficult if you don;t know where you are.
Thanks…

Have you got the rulers displayed?

You should see little markers in the ruler bars.
Also, if you want pixel perfect positioning (all the Ps!), double-
click the guide and you can enter a location in the resulting dialog
box.

Yes. I can pull guides, but in other apps there is usually an info palette where you can see where you are, like a counter.
Page layout applications have these if you are familiar with them.

Hi Robert,
Can you go to the System Preferences>Displays and make sure you don’t
have Colors set to Thousands. If there is a lot going on on the screen
and you drag a Freeway item or a guide then you don’t see anything
until it is dropped. Set the Colors to Millions if it isn’t already
and let me know if that helps.

OK. The double clicking would work, too. At least I can put in the amount I’m supposed to be at, then.
Thanks…

Ignore my reply, I misinterpreted your question. Someone had this
problem the other day so it sprang to mind!
