Selecting objects

I’m a new user of Intaglio just recently switched and purchased because I was having problemmos with with another vector app. I’m hoping Intaglio will serve my needs nicely, and have ben playing around abit to discover it’s quite an awesome app.

I’m not able to do this though -

I’ve drawn a couple of objects on top of each other for effect and shading and would now like to select an object near the back of the canvas. Normally I would just select the layer in the layers palette, but Intaglio handles Layers a little differently to what I’m used to. Thus, all my objects are now on one layer.

How do I select one near the back? One solution I can think of is to send everything else back, select, then rearrange my image, which is quite a tedious process. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark.

You are not alone. I too have run into this problem.
The only way around it afaik, is to use the layers,
which means that you are going to have to sit down and
work the layer function out.

But in Intaglio’s defence, Layer management is extremely
good- in fact many times I wish other apps had the same
usability as layers in Intaglio has.

Work at it!

Ok, thanks Tom. I’ll go spend a couple of minutes with the user guide and see if I can familiarize myself with them. Thanks!
