I have tried numerous variations on the flow of creating a timed sequence to target images (4 of them). First I set the sequence timer in the pages action for the page and set the delay, used default settings. Next I brought in the 4 images; two different ways. First I simply dragged the images in as html images as combined graphics, aligned, grouped and set the image>actions>target image for the group. All images show in the action table and I can see each of them when selecting the column and I set the images with check marks. Only 2 of the 4 rotate, the others never appear and when testing only those missing 2 images with check marks they are transparent, no image. I also on a second variation made 4 graphic items and put the jpgs in them, same settings and it still does not work. I do not know what to do next.
Do them as layers - attach the Target show/hide layer action to each one, Stack them on top of each other.
Make sure each of them are the same target group but different target numbers.
Apply the page action>sequence timer and select your settings. Target group same as above and target numbers -yes for each of the numbers you assigned to the graphics as above.
Thanks DeltaDave, that worked well. I had a blank spot on opening and each rotation. So I was able to put one image on the master page which filled the empty space in the rotation. Weird but it worked.
Looked at all my pages and I had no blank layers (items) in the stack. Still need to use a fixed image in the master to fill the void. Does the show hide layer hide all layers in the stack except the one the is set to show? When I unstack the layers to make the tops of each visible they just turn on and off in order one at a time, while the layers the action is not acting on remain visible. I have tried hidden, visible, restore (yes, no) toggling, this set up just doesn’t seem to work.
