Setting up a predefined div

I’m setting up automated customer engagement services with chat, push notices, etc. Custom designed chat buttons are displayed in a div with the code generated by the engagement system’s proprietary button designer. The hook to the page is in the following string that is dropped in before the head:

The button uses the following code:

I see that the string looks for item IDs and displays the content. When I place the button code on the page itself (as if after ) it shows up on the page but if I paste it into a markup object, nothing shows up.

Any ideas?

I think you have grabbed the wrong script here – this one is a Google Analytics script, and it doesn’t seem to include anything specific to your marker DIV.

I think the page code was simply in the wrong place. As was my thinking.
