setting up forms

Mike B was very helpful in setting up my contact fields, but I am not sure how to put in a “submit” button and then how to set up the “form” so I get the e-mails.

I am just learning tables (just finally got my full Freeway reference book today). When I look at the section under setting up forms, it gets into a lot of scripting. I thought there was a fairly simple way to do it.

The other issue is: what exactly is “the form.” What I have is several text fields (name, phone number, etc.) but how does Freeway know that I want all of that information included in what is sent to me when somebody hits “submit?”

Here is the test website for reference: www.paulheagen.com

I still have some fixes to make on the site, but this is my chance to thank everyone for putting up with me during this process. I welcome your thoughts on the site.

Insert the cursor in a cell and select ‘Insert > Button’

There are a couple of various actions for using with Freeway for a
form, I have a suite called PHP easiForm which is not free, you can
see here:

there is also a pdf download about setting up a form with freeway on
the same page, it’s a long document but covers every aspect of a form,
it is worth a read.
