For some reason the image of the parking lots (last two images in the gallery) look blurry. Specifically the white parking space lines and the power lines. I tried monkeying around with the Large Image Output resolution in Showcase and both the High and Low Smoothing produces the results you see.
However, when I selected None for Smoothing the image quality returned. The only problem is even with None selected, Showcase still exports a fwgallery file with the same bad image.
I recently installed Lion, and have been using it fairly successfully. This morning freeway hung up on a ‘check link’ that didn’t have complete info and I had to force quit, without saving any changes.
Ouch. But I remembered all the talk about Lion’s auto save, and have seen that feature in other programs. I could not find any such feature in the menu bar in feeway - have I disabled or do I need to enable it?
It has hung on upload in Lion for me a few times too. Which indicates a Lion issue. It’s never hung before Lion.
My best advice before each upload, save. And after any major doc update, save (v1,v2 etc.) this should be the case for any doc not just FW as computers are fickle things.

I have a similar problem to RavenManiac.
In Large Image view, cross-hatch lines appear across the images on the projection screen behind the band (see http://homeserviceband.co.uk/cropredy2011.html)
Selecting ‘no smoothing’ in Showcase eliminates the problem at that stage, but when exported to Freeway the problem returns.
Any other ideas?
Thank you!

You could prepare your image(s) externally and use the pass-through setting for your large image.
Yep, that worked, but I did it with Lightroom 3. It still bothers me that I have to do a work-a-round because Showcase isn’t rendering images properly.

If you are using Photoshop then you can automate the process of resizing and run through a batch very quickly.
