Looking for some critical feedback for my website. It needs … a lot of things.

Also, Looking for some US contacts for bouncing ideas around. (I’m in Denver, Colorado)

Thanks much!

Duh…that might be helpful!

www.ip5280.com

I’m aware that I’ve got a few links down in documentation and a flash issue on the home page. I think I have a problem with the tech support form in Firefox. Otherwise, looking for some recommendations on layout and some actions/other enhancements or any other comments you can provide.

Hi Kelly

Well visually I think it is quite appealing but there a couple of things that I have noticed.

Firstly you have a lot of Graphic text and a lot of the same alt tag repeated endlessly

alt=“Denver Colorado Business VoIP IP Phone IP5280”

I don’t know much about this but it may be regarded as SEO spamming it is repeated so often.

To be more SEO friendly I would get a lot more HTML text in there and vary the alt tags before you get penalised.

Also the About Us page seems to align differently to the others - I think there may be something off to the right on that page that stops it aligning centrally.

Thanks, David…I appreciate your feedback. I was wondering the same about the alt tags, but I wear too many hats and haven’t had time to spend adjusting it. The tips on Graphic text are good too.

Thanks for taking the time to take a peek.

One thing I think would help is giving your menu bar a rollover effect. I think a change in background color would be enough so that browsers will have a sense that something is happening. The change in cursor is a clue, but i’m not convinced that’s enough.
