Sitemap for large site that has been broken down into multiple files?

Hi,

Is their any way to create a site map from the main folder where are the files are published? I’ve got quite a few Freeway files that all publish their files to the same folder. (Of course, there are folders within folders for each). Since I made some additions and changes to some of the files, I need to see the navigational structure whole site so I can make sure my links are set up correctly.

I think the easiest way to do this would be to use a site like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com to auto generate your sitemap from your live site.

Oh, I just noticed you wrote that the site has to be live. I wanted to do it before the site goes live. If anything comes to mind, please let me know. Thanks.

Live or not, it’s going to take Google a month or so to index it once you’ve made it live anyway.

Joe,

just recognized that Site Mapper is generating a “sitemapc.xml” for me. I know that there was another list here, that declared the action should not do - so I’m a bit helpless here?

Cheers

Hi Thomas,

Deleting all sitemap.xml files from your site folder and republishing should fix that.
