Slide Down Effect

Hi all, I am just new user in your forum and like to get the experts’ 2cents:) I selected freeway pro because Im not able to write or create html script. However any practical solutions or input from you are welcome.

Here is my challenge:
I observe the slide down effect in knowledge base site: http://www.softpress.com/support/faq.php and still couldn’t figure out how to make the copy on the following menus below move its position, seems intact with the menu above.

When I try myself by creating a menu and submenu in seperate html items and applied the effect, the result: the following menu stays on the same position and cannot move together when the slide down effect being applied.
And also tried using table but couldn’t apply the effect on each individual column/row.

Could anyone help…Thanks in advance.

The mootools manual may be of some help.
http://www.coastalrugs.com/Actions/mootoolssuite.html
For $15 I bought the suite. Looks interesting, but I have not received it as of yet. You can download the manual for free and it may give you some insight.
I appears documentation or tutorial are sometimes scarce.
I, like you, have limited knowledge and it can be a challange.
good luck

I think I have it.
I had to create an html item and “insert” html items inside of it.
I finally noticed that in the sample
Make sure the cursor is inside the first item when inserting.
The inserted items will have the css check mark and when you use transition fx in the first on you can relate to to the second one, third to forth and so on.
It actually worked.

Had to play with “padding” in the action item and html item size for the text to prevent overlap.
It can act strange at time, but does work.
Resizing items seem to cause strange behavior, but perhaps it’s my lack of understanding.
Interesting though.

This effect can be achieved with Walters Carousel action.

Have a look here for threads on it.
