I have a client who wants to put a shopping cart onto my site. He wants me to give him permission to go into the site and put in this information. I don’t want him to mess up my site. Last time I had a client insert a shopping cart, he sent me the source information and I put it in a table. Worked fine. http://www.tobesite.com/orderform .

What should I tell him that I need? I am great at design. Otherwise I am needing all the help I can get.

Thanks for your help,
Tobé

Your client needs to sign up with Mals or PayPal or another “hosted”
cart system, and send you the account information. Once you have that,
you will know which direction to take. If you want the most integrated
system, have him do Mals, as there are easy shopping cart Actions
bundled with Freeway to connect with Mals.

Tim Plumb has some great Actions for Mals, too. (The Softpress Actions
are cut-down versions of TIm’s originals.) Tim’s go quite a bit
further than Softpress’ in terms of configurability and features, at
the expense of simplicity. Tim also has some PayPal Actions that make
that service relatively easy to work with in Freeway. <http://freewayactions.com/
