sometimes serious ceramic site

I finally "dumped the tortuous GoLive and have my first freeway site uploaded.
CSS is beyond my understanding at present so it is a plain basic layout.
I hold my galleries and link to the 19 pdf files on dot mac - it just seemed the most simple solution.
There is a heap of content and many links - I think that they are all working.
There might be a typo or two.

I would really appreciate a few comments if you have a few moments to browse

Hi Beeegeee,

I’d suggest changing the main graphic that has the New Zealand
outline and coloured type. That’s being published as a JPEG, which
softens and muddies what should be crisp edges. Look out for this
sort of thing in general. If you import a full-colour image Freeway
will assume that it should be output as a JPEG. Normally this is
fine, but sometimes it isn’t the ideal format.

Also, the spider-bait text on your pages that looks like strings of
keywords… I strongly suggest making that work properly for your
readers as well as for spiders. Partly because spiders can work out
if something isn’t really there for humans, and partly because -
well, your site is for humans, right?

As well as considering the way you present that stuff, consider
making those bits of text into text links, linking to the most
appropriate parts of your site. That will help spiders see that stuff
as being more relevant and legitimate, and it’ll help your real-life
visitors too.
